For what it's worth, I was approached by a promoter not that long ago about setting up workshops in France. I provide the students; he takes care of the rest. This is certainly iffy, as I haven't checked out his affidavits and whatnot, but if it's anything that you think might be interesting, even quite a ways in the future, drop me an e-mail and I'll keep you in mind. I think the basic cost he quoted is $2000 for two weeks, excluding airfare.

I think a European workshop/painting vacation would be great, in general, so if anyone's interested, you might tell me where you'd like to go, and approximate time of year. Again, I'll just keep you on file, and¥who knows? I might eventually have a large enough group to make it viable.

If you're part of an arts organization that would like to coordinate a workshop with me, just let me know. I can provide you with all the information you need. Anything from one to five days, and remember, there is NO restriction in subject matter. Just because I'm currently mostly doing still life, students can pursue other genres, as well. cheers! Don
